Nova Southeastern University’s Master of Science in Medicinal Chemistry prepares you to expand your knowledge of chemical principles and biopharmaceutics to help identify and solve chemical problems in research areas. In this two-year program, you’ll learn how to design, synthesize, and examine biologically active pharmaceuticals, including therapeutically useful drugs, natural products, and toxins.
The M.S. in Medicinal Chemistry leverages the expertise of NSU’s Halmos College of Arts and Sciences and the College of Pharmacy. Instruction takes place both inside the classroom and in the laboratory. Graduates of the program will have extensive lab experience gained through research or an internship, resulting in greater opportunities to advance your career.
