Step into the fast-paced world of modern media with a Journalism minor. This program provides practical experience across various mediums, including print, broadcast, and multimedia. Through hands-on, experiential learning—including courses like Introduction to Print Journalism, Introduction to Broadcast Journalism, and Multimedia Writing—you'll develop your writing and editing skills. This minor is designed to help you build a portfolio of professional-grade work.

This minor can be combined with any major and minor, including the communication major. A minimum of 9 credits must be exclusive to the minor and cannot be counted toward any other majors, minors, or certificate programs.
