Ali Keshavarz Panahi, Ph.D.

Ali Panahi is an Associate Professor in the College of Computing, AI, and Cybersecurity at Nova Southeastern University. His research focuses on muscle fatigue analysis during intense and light muscle activities. He has published several journal and conference papers related to muscle fatigue and ergonomic analysis in different settings such as laparoscopic surgery, manufacturing, and construction. In addition, he has had several publications in the field of Powder Injection Molding (PIM) which was used as a production method for dental implants and Solid Oxide Fuel Cell (SOFC) parts. Before joining NSU’s College of Computing, AI, and Cybersecurity in 2018, Dr. Panahi had more than three years of service as a faculty member at Advanced Manufacturing Technology Department, Ranke Technical College. He received his Ph.D. degree in Engineering Science (Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering concentration) from Southern Illinois University. In addition to his career in the academia, Dr. Panahi has served as a technical trainer for different companies in the state of Missouri.
