Season of the Arts

DCMA’s 2025-26 Season of the Arts promises a diverse array of cultural experiences for the NSU Community. With a blend of visual art, theatre, music concerts, and dance, our season aims to provoke thought, inspire creativity, and celebrate the essence of the human spirit. Themes such as love, resilience, identity, and the power of imagination will be explored, inviting audiences to delve into the depths of the human experience. Join us as we showcase the transformative power of the arts and embrace the richness they bring to our lives.

Guest Artist Exhibition - Nathalie Alfonso 
Nathalie Alfonso holds a Master’s in Fine Arts from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX, and a Bachelor’s in Fine Arts from Florida International University in Miami, FL. Alfonso’s artistic practice includes the exploration of unseen work and the exercise of emotional control. Alfonso leverages the qualities of invisibility and visibility as the foundations for her multidisciplinary approach, which encompasses drawings, installations, performances, and videos. The Music of Bill Withem
Join us for an evening of chamber music composed by NSU music faculty Dr. Bill Withem, with performances by NSU music faculty Bill Adams and Jihong Adams-Park, and featuring flutist Karen Fuller, percussionist Matthew Nichols, and violinist Laura Gonzalez.
The program will include Dragonfly, a three-movement virtuosic work for flute, mallet percussion, and piano, and Italian Settings, a song cycle featuring settings of 19th and 20th Century Italian poetry for male voice, violin, and piano.
