Professional Interests

Herbert S. Ambrose is currently a Ph.D. student in the Department of Conflict Resolution Studies at Nova Southeastern University. His knowledge, skills, and abilities include customer service, leadership, education, human resources, and conflict resolution management.

Ambrose has been the administration and operations manager at Nova Southeastern University for several years but started his tenure at the university in 2000 as central supervisor of the University Call Center, where he was instrumental in its inception. He has served as an Educational Excellence School Advisory Council Member (EESAC) for the Miami-Dade County Public School system from 2007-08 and was employed as a Reading Specialist at Golden Glades Elementary in Miami Gardens, Florida, during that time.

Upon completion of his Ph.D. in Conflict Analysis and Resolution, he plans to continue working within the university as well as teach as an adjunct within the college.
