Sea Turtle Rehabilitation Centers and Attractions

Go beyond the nesting walks and hatchling releases and truly connect with the heroes of the sea. These rehabilitation centers and attractions are the front lines of sea turtle conservation, providing a second chance at life for injured and sick turtles. You’ll not only learn about the challenges these ancient mariners face, but you'll also witness the compassionate care they receive from marine experts. A visit provides an engaging and educational experience for all ages.

Broward County Sea Turtle Conservation Program

For over 30 years, NSU has been contracted by Broward County to implement and manage the Broward County Sea Turtle Conservation Program, which monitors sea turtle nesting activity on over 24 miles of Broward County beaches.
